Con Alma Health Foundation announces the resignation of Dolores E. Roybal, the Foundation’s esteemed, long-serving Executive Director who will be retiring on May 1, 2021. The Foundation’s Board of Trustees has appointed an Executive Search Committee to lead the search process with the assistance of the national search firm, Nonprofit Professionals Advisory Group, NPAG. We are committed to diversity and inclusion in the search process. Application instructions can be found at the end of this announcement.

Although there will be time for goodbyes, Con Alma would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge Dolores’ outstanding leadership over the past 14 years. She has been a passionate advocate for advancing health equity by addressing systemic issues that affect under-served populations while empowering communities to take the lead in finding solutions to their health needs. Her skills have allowed Con Alma to bring diverse groups of people together to work on critical health issues in our state. She has devoted her energy and focus toward fulfilling our mission to respond to the health rights and needs of culturally and demographically diverse peoples and communities of New Mexico, and to advance health equity in our state and beyond.

Several national boards and organizations have benefited from her leadership, experience, and belief in racial and health equity. We are committed to continuing this path by recruiting a new Executive Director who can build on past and current accomplishments with a vision toward achieving a more equitable and healthier future for all.

Sincerely,

Deborah Walker, MSN, RN
President, Board of Trustees & Chair, Executive Search Committee

This search is being led by Linh Nguyen and Britni Russell Bianchi of NPAG. Due to the pace of this search, candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
