Nominate a Hero of Health Today!
Each year we honor individuals who are passionate about improving health in New Mexico. We are most interested in hearing about unsung heroes, community members and leaders not often in the spotlight. Nominate someone who is making a great difference in your community — including advocates, volunteers, clinicians, administrators, teachers, policy makers, and others who have contributed to New Mexico’s health and well-being.
Deadline for submissions is Tuesday, October 31st.
Tell us about a Hero of Health in New Mexico. Provide your contact information first, then complete the nomination form to tell us about your Hero’s accomplishments. A selection committee consisting of former Heroes and community members will select the 2023 Heroes (1 traditional Hero and 1 youth Hero will be selected). Con Alma will notify the selected Hero and contribute $1,000 to a qualifying nonprofit of the Hero’s choice.
Two Tracks:
Track 1 (traditional). Please nominate a more traditional hero (age 26+) who has contributed to health and well-being in New Mexico.
Track 2 (youth, age 25 and under). Please nominate a youthful hero (age 25 and below) who has contributed to health and well-being in New Mexico.
Selected Heroes:
- Preference will be given to nominees whose work is consistent with Con Alma’s mission and core values
- Sitting members of the state, tribal, and federal legislative bodies and other publicly elected officials are not eligible for consideration.
